Herbal Medicine

Benefits

We firmly believe that the body wants to be healthy, but it needs to have all the resources it needs to do that. That’s where supplements come in. We’ll make some suggestions based on your diagnosis and then we muscle test to make sure that your body needs it and we’re not sending you home with something you don’t need.

What to expect during treatment

If this service is included in your acupuncture treatment, we’ll check supplements either during your consultation or before you leave.
If you’re just coming for an herbal consultation, you’ll start by filling out our comprehensive questionnaire. We’ll discuss your concerns and priorities. Natalie will then feel your pulse and look at your tongue. Between your priorities and the information from your pulse and tongue diagnosis, we’ll muscle test a series of supplements that may help based on what’s happening in your body.

What to expect after treatment

After your consultation, you will go home and take the herbs and supplements as directed. Chinese Medicine supplements will usually last about a week, so plan to come back to either restock or get reevaluated.
